Mel has always been active and enjoys trying all the activities, and never imagined one of those activities including going to the gym, but when a dear friend said, ‘this is what healthy adults do,’ she agreed to try it and fell in love. The entire list of reasons she loves CrossFit is longer, but you can find these on the top of her list: CrossFit is for literally everyone, CrossFit values data (and so does Mel), and thrives in group settings.
CrossFit has been part of Mel’s life since 2018. Mel received her CF-L2 in early 2024 and in the spirit of always hoping to improve and refine her craft, has her eyes set on receiving the next level certification. Favorite CrossFit moves include box jumps and toes to bar.
When not in the gym, you can find Mel slowly reading multiple books at once, enjoying any activity outside, or thinking about her next snack.
